Consultation Times

In general consultation times are Monday to Friday 08:30 to 11:30 and 14:30 to 17:30.

Outwith these times, doctors have other duties to undertake including signing prescriptions, home visits etc.

Consultation times may vary due to other commitments and are very much dependant on patient needs.

When We Are Closed

The Abbey Practice are part of the Tayside wide Out of Hours Service and work together with NHS 24, which you should telephone in the first instance, on 111 Website: www.nhs24.com.

An experienced NHS 24 nurse will assess your symptoms and provide advice. If you need further assessment or treatment, either from a GP or at a local hospital, NHS 24’s nurse will arrange this for you with the out of hours service.

The out of hours service runs as follows:

Weekdays - from 6pm to 8am

Weekends - from 6pm Friday to 8am Monday

They also cover all Public Holidays.
